The Big Plastic Count is launching again in March- and there’s still time to sign up.
While many of us carefully wash and sort our recycling, recent findings show that only a small proportion of plastic is actually recycled. Since 2022, the amount of household plastic being burned has risen from 46% to 58%, with much of the rest sent to landfill or overseas.
With more incinerators being built, it’s more important than ever to take part and make our voices heard.
