    This week, children from our 2 Primary schools, St Ninian’s and St Clement’s were confirmed by Bishop Stephen. Both were beautiful happy services led by the children but also a touch of sadness for parishioners as these were Bishop Stephen’s last duties as our Bishop in our Diocese.     Since our fund raising appeal was launched for the church and Rosily, (see the last post for suggestions) parishioners have rallied around amazingly! Here’s just a couple of examples of what’s been happening and it’s so fabulous to see the young ones leading the way in ‘building their fiver’!

    At the 9.30 Mass today, the children from the Children’s Liturgy group enacted the birth of Jesus in a pageant, narrated by Hannah. It was beautiful and as a parishioner said, “Brilliant today with the kids and the story of Jesus’ birth. Thanks to all. Great job.”

    The Garden Gang had a wee trip out today to help the children at St Ninian’s Primary School do a bit of bulb and wildflower planting! They were lovely little people and enthusiastically got mucky as they planted and scattered various bulbs, corms and seeds. Can’t wait to see the results next spring and…
