We warmly congratulate the 4 parishioners who took part in this year’s Big Lent Walk, committing themselves to the remarkable challenge of walking 200km over 40 days. Together, with the support of friends and parishioners, they raised almost £1500, a wonderful achievement that will bring life saving water to communities around the world.
In many cases, £750 could support an entire small community, helping to reduce water-borne illnesses, save hours collecting water and improve daily life. Very well-done Margaret Parke, Louise and Paul Hunter and Jim Hampton!
